Robert Eitches, MD, FAAAAI (Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology) earned an AB at Princeton University, an MD at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, did his Internship and Residency at Albert Einstein Medical College and finished his education with a Fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at UCLA. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA School of Medicine and an Attending Physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
He has been awarded Physician of the Year by the California Chapter of Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and currently sits on their executive board. He has been President of the LASAAI (Los Angeles Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology). Currently he is secretary-treasurer and on the executive board of the California Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He has been published in many peer-reviewed journals and lectures throughout the United States and Europe. He has been interviewed regularly on allergy and asthma topics for local and national news and television shows including the Today Show, Good Morning America, the CBS Evening News, MTV and The Doctors.
Dr. Eitches is listed as the highest ranked allergist in LA and Orange Counties in the Consumer’s Guide to Top Doctors which is published by a nonprofit organization that gets their data by asking physicians who they would send their loved ones to. He was also the only allergist listed in the Los Angeles Confidential magazine article on top physicians in Los Angeles. Additionally, he has been listed as one of the Super Docs in the last few Los Angeles Magazine editions.
